
Operating instructions
1. Volume control
Use this to set the desired volume control for the speaker.
2. Treble control
Use this to set the increase or decrease the high frequencies of the signal. In the centre position the high frequency is
set at neutral.
3. Bass control
Use this to set the increase or decrease the low frequencies of the signal. In the centre position the low frequency is
set at neutral.
4. On/Off switch
When the AC plug is connected to the mains, turn the speaker on or off with this switch.
5. Line input
Connect a sound source to this socket. This input need to be fed with a signal at a line level, e.g. CD, DVD, mixer,
etc.
6. Audio output
This output should be connect to the supplied passive loudspeaker only. Connection to other speakers may result in
damage to both units. Connect the red output of the active speaker to the red input on the passive speaker and the
black output to the black input of the passive speaker.
7. Mains socket
Connect the speaker to the mains by a standard IEC type power cord. This socket contains a 1A slow blow fuse. Use
a screwdriver to flip out the fuse compartment and to replace the fuse. If this fuse blows frequently you should take
the unit to a qualified service engineer, but before you do this, make sure you didn't use a quick blow fuse.
