Cleaning
Thoroughly cleaning your machine weekly will keep if function correctly for many years. What
we mean by
“thoroughly cleaning”
is removing all debris from the machine especially from
moving parts, such as belts, guards, electrical components and vises.
What components to check
Check all moving parts such as v-belts, bearings, spindle and pulley's for ware and tear. V-belt’s
tend to stretch a bit when they are brand new. So check them after the first three or four cuts and
tighten. There should be a 1/4” of squeeze (between the top and bottom of belt).
Sign Off Sheet
We recommend that you thoroughly clean your machine weekly of any any debris and to check
all moving components for ware and tear. Below is a sign off sheet for you to use when you
complete those tasks.
