Using the ball head (fig. B)
Loosen the ball locking knob (3).
Caution:
When your camera is mounted on the ball
head (2), support it with your hand.
Tighten the locking knob (3) when your ca-
mera is in the desired position. Note: Do not
overtighten the locking knob!
Attaching a weight (fig. C)
For a particularly secure stand, a weight (not
included) can be attached to the fastening
eye (8).
Adjusting the spread angle (fig. D)
The tripod legs (5) lock at an angle of approx.
24°. For other angles, press the unlock but-
ton (4) while moving the tripod leg.
Setting the leg extension length (fig. E)
Each tripod leg has five sections (9). To set
the leg extension length, twist the rubber foot
(6) in direction of
(a) to unlock the leg
sections (9), extend the leg sections (b) or te-
lescope them, then twist the rubber foot in
direction of
(c) to lock the leg sections
again.
Note: The leg sections can be locked at any
desired extension length.
Maintenance and care
No maintenance is required. Do not lubrify
the ball of the ball head (2).
Clean the tripod / ball head with a soft cloth.
More important notes
Make sure that all leg sections (9) are locked
when using the tripod.
Do not exceed the maximum load.
Remove the camera before you carry the tri-
pod.
