MAINTENANCE

2. Printhead Cleaning

Clean the printhead as per the below procedures, in case of faded printing error cause by
dirty printhead.

①

Open printer cover and remove printer paper.

※

See page 55 how to open printer cover.

②

Steep cotton swab in ethyl alcohol, and wipe
the printhead.

If it is not enough, rub the printhead with
cloth, applying ethyl alcohol on it.

Cleaning Paper Detection Sensor:
Use dry cotton swab to wipe off without
using ethyl alcohol.

Do not wipe / rub the printhead strongly. This may hurt printhead or
cause printing error.

●

Do not use methyl alcohol, toxic to humans.

●

Do not use any sharp or hard materials for printhead cleaning.
