RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
A rechargeable Ni-MH battery operates the
IntelliEAR
®
PLUS
unit.
Before
using the unit for the first time, you
must charge the internal Ni-MH rechargeable battery for
a minimum of
twelve hours
. If the sound is weak while the
volume control is at the maximum position, the battery
should be recharged immediately.
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
Do not
remove the Ni-MH battery from the
IntelliEAR
®
PLUS
unit. The AC adapter included with this unit is for
recharging the battery. Locate the DC jack on the inside of
the unit
(diagram at right). To recharge the battery, insert
the DC plug into the DC jack and plug the AC adapter into
a wall socket. A green light will come on to indicate that
the battery is being charged. A full recharge process takes
around 12-14 hours.
Only use the AC adapter supplied by
the manufacturer
(see page 17).
