SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. When opening the packaging, check the integrity of the appliance, paying particular attention to the presence of
damage to the plastic parts that may cause internal parts of the appliance to be exposed to voltage, and to breaks and /
or jams of the power cord if present. In such cases do not connect the transformer to the power supply. Perform these
checks before each use.
2. Before connecting the transformer, always check that the electrical data indicated on the data label corresponds to
those of the electrical network that you want to connect to. Connect the transformer to a grounded grounding line and
protected by a suitable overload and short-circuit protection switch. The maximum load must not exceed nominal power.
3. Pay special attention to:
• Place the appliance on flat, stable surfaces and on the entire base
• Do not use the transformer i
n environments where there are flammable anesthetic mixtures with air, oxygen or nitrogen
protoxide
• Avoid touching the transformer or casing with wet hands and nevertheless avoid always contact with liquid
s

alled in a specific outdoor box) in weather protected areas and away from any
heat sources
• Take special care not to obstruct the ventilation grilles during operation.
4. This appliance should only be used for the intended use, i.e. as a galvanic separator and voltage increasing/lowering
device. Any other use is considered improper and dangerous and the manufacturer can
’
t be held liable for any
consequences that improper use or connection to electrical systems that do not comply with applicable regulations. Do
not use the appliance for any purpose other than those provided by the manufacturer.

of flooding. Eliminate the risk of drops of water on the transformer. Frequently remove the dust that is deposited: it can
be a conductor and it also does not allow the heat dissipation.
Risk of fire
Under normal conditions of handling, storage, handling and use there is no risk of spontaneous combustion. However, in
case of fire:
◊ some components used in the manufacture of the product may deve
lop fumes which may be harmful to health
In case of fire, therefore a good ventilation and self-contained breathing apparatus must be provided
