When operating in DOS mode, the PXI-63980 does NOT support:
• KVM switches connected to the USB 3.0 ports
• USB keyboards connected through a USB hub connected to the USB 3.0 ports
The PXI-63980 provides two Type A USB 3.0 ports on the front panel, supporting SuperSpeed,
Hi-Speed, full-speed, and lowspeed transmission for downstream. Multiple boot devices,
including USB flash, USB external HD, and USB CD-ROM drives are supported, with boot
priority configured in BIOS.
While the USB 3.0 ports allow boot from CD-ROM, OS installation via CD-ROM is not
supported
