Open thermocouple detection
The thermocouple open circuit detection function is provided in the driver to help
the user detect the connection status of the thermocouple.
When the user calls the method PerformOpenThermocoupleDetection, the
PCIe/PXIe-6302 outputs 0.5 µA/ 2 µA/ 4 µA (software configurable) excitation
current on all TC+ terminals, traversing each enabled channel for voltage acquisition.
This method returns a
Dictionary
that represents the open-circuit detection results
for each channel.
