SAFETY PRECAUTION

1. As the las er beam used in this compac t disc player is harmful to the eyes, do not attempt
to disass emble the c as ing.
2. Stop  operation immediately  if any  liquid  or  solid objec t should  fall  into the cabinet. Unplug
the unit and have it c heck ed by qualified personnel.
3. Do not touch the lens or poke at it. If you do, you may damage the lens and the player
may not operate properly.
4. Do not put anything in the s afety slot. If y ou do, the laser diode will be ON  when the lid
is still opened.
5. If the unit is not to be us ed for a long period of time, make sure that all power sources
are disconnected from the unit. Remove all batteries from the battery  compartment, and
unplug the AC adaptor from the wall outlet. Make it a practice to remov e the AC adaptor by
gras ping the main body and not by pul ling the cord.
6. This unit employs  a laser. The use of controls or adjustment or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein may result in exposure to hazardous radiation.

Warning :

The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does

the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following meas ures :

Reorientate or relocate the receiving antenna.

Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
