Disc indicator
Indicates the type of the disc set in the tray. When a DVD
VIDEO disc is set, “DVD” lights up. When a SVCD or Video
CD disc is set, “VCD” lights up. When an Audio CD or
MP3 CD disc is set, “CD” lights up.

Group/title/track/chapter indicators
Displays group/title/track, or chapter number.

Repeat mode indicators
The appropriate indicator illuminates according to the
current repeat mode.

PROGRAM/RANDOM indicators
The appropriate indicator illuminates while the unit is in
the Program or Random playback mode.

Multi-information window
Displays the current group/title/track/chapter number(s),
time and status information.

DIGITAL OUT jack (COAXIAL) (15)
Outputs digital audio signals. You must select the type
correctly according to the external device connected to
via the Preference display.

To enable these jacks, select VIDEO OUT SELECT
(COMPONENT/S-VIDEO) switch to “COMPONENT”.

S-VIDEO OUT jack (13)
Outputs a S-video signal.
To enable this jack, select VIDEO OUT SELECT
(COMPONENT/S-VIDEO) switch to “S-VIDEO AND VIDEO”.

VIDEO OUT jack (13)
Outputs a composite video signal.
To enable this jack, select VIDEO OUT SELECT
(COMPONENT/S-VIDEO) switch to “S-VIDEO AND VIDEO”.

AUDIO OUT jacks (LEFT/RIGHT) (13, 14)
Outputs stereo analog audio signals.

VIDEO OUT SELECT switch (COMPONENT/S-VIDEO) (13)
Select “COMPONENT or “S-VIDEO AND VIDEO”. Note
that you must change the switch position while the
unit is stopped, or the unit power is off.
Otherwise, the changed setting will not be effective.

AC IN connector (16)
Connects to the wall outlet using the suppplied AC power
cord.

Region Code label (12)
Shows Region Code number.
