enjoying your favorite hi-def TV shows, and make it easy to share your digital
photos on screen as well. Available in 32- and 37” sizes, the monitors feature
720p resolution, IPS Alpha Panel with 178% viewing angle; VIERA Image Viewer
to view digital still JPEG images; VIERA Link; 15,000:1 native contrast ratio; two
HDMI inputs and a PC input. Otherwise the same, the X2 series has a universal
dock for iPod/iPhone. The iPod Entertainment Kit lets you control and play back
your music and videos directly from your iPod/iPhone on the TV. Otherwise the
same as the C22, the U22 series steps-up with 1080p Full HD resolution.
• Panel reflections have been reduced to half those of conventional panels, to sharpen images and reduce glare.
• IPS display Panel delivers a 178° wide viewing angle with bright, clear images when viewed from almost any location in the room.
• Extending their versaility, the VIERA Image Viewer (SD card reader) lets you display photos on a large HDTV screen in full-HD (1920 x
1080) resolution.
• Intelligent Scene Controller marries gamma correction with backlight control to achieve an expanded contrast range exhibiting deep
blacks, smooth color transition and clean whites.
• They also feature component and composite video inputs with audio and digital audio output
• For convenience, VIERA Link provides control of all compatible A/ components (Panasonic DVD/Blu-ray players, home theater sound sys-
tem and HD camcorder) using only the TV’s remote control and on-screen menus. Utilizing HDMI-CEC VIERA Link even permits operation
of a network camera, ideal for monitoring of a home/nursery.
• With the VIERA Tools user interface, simply press a button on the remote control and icons such as the photos or movies from the menu
screen. Now you can just select the one you want. This kind of easy operation means you have more fun and less hassle
• The included universal dock (X2 series only) plugs into a special port on the back panel. The on screen menu mirrors the iPod menu
enabling you to lean back with the TV's remote and choose the artist, album, playlist, podcasts, or videos to play.

Introducing LED-backlight technology, the LED-LCD D2 series uses white LEDs arranged around the
inside frame of the TV along with a special diffusion panel designed to spread the light evenly behind
the LCD panel. This method of backlighting the LCD panel allows for the LED-LCD HDTVs to become
extremely thin and offers a wider color gamut than traditional back-lit LCDs, which use fluorescent
bulbs to provide the light source. Combined with the IPS panel, the viewing angle is enhanced,
contrast is also improved and there is lower power consumption. The D2 series also features the
roprietary Universal Dock for iPod; the VIERA Image Viewer to view digital still JPEG photos with
music slide show capability; VIERA Link, PC input; 24p Smooth film; 120Hz Motion Picture Pro4;
four HDMI connections and Clear Panel.

• With Motion Focus Technology, the TV detects areas with motion and activates backlight blinking
for only those areas, greatly enhancing resolution.
• Enjoy naturally flowing 24p films and familiar TV-like quality. This mode optimizes the number of
frames of 24p images recorded from film media such as a Blu-ray Disc. Advanced source analysis
and frame generation produce smooth images that are faithful to the original.
• In Game mode, quicker image response increases the enjoyment of video games when a game console is connected to the TV. What’s
more VIERA produces the dark images in video games more clearly. This mode works anti-image retention (wobbling) too.
