Basic Operations and Settings
NOTE
• Before adjusting, set the sound mode to "SOUND
MODE NORMAL" (
page 9). When the sound
mode is set to any item other than "SOUND MODE
NORMAL" and you press
, "NO OPERATE"
appears on the display window and you cannot
adjust the tone.

• You can adjust the tone level within the
range of –5 to +5.
• The display returns to the source display in
a few seconds.

Sound
α
(alpha) waves are regarded as one type of
brain wave that is emitted when a person is
relaxed. JVC's
α
SOUND function is designed
to produce natural and comfortable sound that
makes you feel relaxed. The natural effect is
completed by
1) modulation which adds fluctuation with the
α
wave frequency to subtracted waves
(left-right indirect sound).
2) sound correction for covering the middle
range of waves in music signals which
naturally tend to dissipate.
