• The operational range between the unit and the device is approximately 8 metres.
• Before connecting a
Bluetooth
® device to the unit, ensure you know the device’s capabilities.
• Compatibility with all
Bluetooth
® devices is not guaranteed.
• Any obstacle between the device and the unit can reduce operational range.
• Keep this player away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
• The player will also be disconnected when your device is moved beyond the operational range.
System Reset
There may be times when you need to reset your unit back to the factory settings,
especially if you have moved house or if you experience reception problems.
If you move to another part of the country and pick up the local and national DAB stations
in that area, your previously tuned channels may no longer be available.
1. Ensure the unit is switched on.
2. Press the MODE button repeatedly and select DAB mode.
3. Press the
button to open the CD tray.
4. With the unit in DAB mode and the CD tray open press and hold the MONO/STEREO
button. The unit will now reset itself. Once it has reset it will automatically start to scan
for DAB radio stations.
Bluetooth® Operation
Pair the unit with a
Bluetooth
®
device to listen to music:
1. Press the MODE button to select the
Bluetooth
® mode. The words “BT LINK” will flash
on the display.
2. Activate your
Bluetooth
® device and select search mode. “RD-D90” will appear on your
Bluetooth
® device list.
3. Select “RD-D90” and enter the password “0000” if necessary. If the connection is
successful the unit will make a beep sound.
4. To disconnect a
Bluetooth
® device, either switch to another function or disable
the function from your
Bluetooth
® device. The unit will make a beep sound when
disconnected and “BT LINK” will flash in the display.
If your
Bluetooth
®
device supports A2DP, playback and control (Skip/Search, Pause/Play and
volume) music via your device.
If your
Bluetooth
®
device supports AVRCP, use supplied you can also use the remote control
to control playback.
