Wide Media Format Compatibility and Support for Data-rich MXF Files
The GY-HM650 records HD or SD footage to SDHC / SDXC cards in a range of file formats,
including MP4 file format (XDCAM EX™ workflow-compatible), MOV (Final Cut Pro™
compatible), and AVCHD. The camera now also supports MXF files with rich descriptive
metadata, which can be sent to the camera via Wi-Fi.
