Activating/deactivating the Auto
Power Save (A.P.S.)
Press the button once to display the
current setting. Press it again to change
the setting.

(Canceled)
If no operation is performed for 30 minutes in
the following situations, the System turns off
automatically.
- The volume level is set to
MIN
or muting is
activated.
- “
iPod
” is selected as the source, and iPod is
not connected.
- “
USB
” is selected as the source, and
playback is stopped.
During the 30-minute countdown, “
APS
” is
shown on the display every minute.
Approximately 30 seconds before the power
is turned off, “
APS
” starts to blink.
The 30-minute countdown restarts when
you perform button operations or connect/
disconnect a device.
This function has priority over the Daily Timer
and Sleep Timer.
This function is on at the initial setting.

Connecting headphones
Be sure to turn down the volume before
connecting or putting on the headphones.
Connecting the headphones deactivates the
speakers.
The sound effect and sound mode do not
affect the sound through the headphones.
NOTE
If “
iPod
” is selected as the source, no sound is
heard from headphones.
