Guide Program Numbers
Guide Program Numbers are used by the VIDEO Plus+ system to identify the correct preset
to record.
You have to set Guide Program Numbers, which are assigned to each station for purposes of
VIDEO Plus+ timer programming, for all the stations stored in your VCR’s memory to get
proper results. The Guide Program Numbers can be found in most TV listings.
IMPORTANT
After setting the Guide Program Numbers, channel positions may be incorrect if you have stored
or skipped channels. In this case, re-perform Guide Program Number setting.
Manually Setting Guide Program Numbers
get to the guide prog set screen

INITIAL SET
using
the A and B buttons and press O (or E ). Move the highlight bar to GUIDE PROG SET
using the
A
and
B
buttons and press

).
enter guide prog number
Use the A and B
buttons to enter the correct Guide Program number for the TV
station shown then press
O (or E ).
enter receiving preset number
Use the A and B
buttons to enter the receiving preset number that the VCR or satellite
receiver uses to receive the TV station then press
O

E
).
