BASIC OPERATIONS
Turning on the power

Turn on the power.
“HELLO” appears on the display.
Note on One-Touch Operation:
When you select a source in step 2 below, the
power automatically comes on. You do not have
to press this button to turn on the power.

Select the source.
To select the FM or AM tuner, press FM/AM
DAB repeatedly.
To select TAPE, or CD changer (or “LINE IN”),
press TAPE CD-CH repeatedly.
* Without connecting to the CD changer, you
cannot select the CD changer as the source.
** If “LINE IN” does not appear on the display,
see page 27 and select the external input
(“LINE IN”).
To select the DAB tuner, press and hold
FM/AM DAB.

Adjust the volume.

Adjust the sound as you want.

To drop the volume in a moment
Press
briefly while listening to any
source. “ATT” starts flashing on the display, and
the volume level will drop in a moment.
To resume the previous volume level, press the
button briefly again.
• If you turn the control dial, you can also restore
the sound.
To turn off the power
Press
for more than one second.
“SEE YOU” appears, then the unit turns off.
Note:
When you use this unit for the first time, set the built-in
clock correctly, see page 25.
