iPod/iPhone operations
• You can control the following types of iPods/iPhones:
(A) Connected with the USB cable:

To watch the video with its audio, connect the
iPod/iPhone using USB Audio and Video cable (not
supplied).

It is not possible to charge the battery through this
unit.
• If the iPod/iPhone does not play correctly, update
your iPod/iPhone software to the latest version.
For details about updating your iPod/iPhone, visit
<http://www.apple.com>.
• When you turn on this unit, the iPod/iPhone is
charged through the unit.
• While the iPod/iPhone is connected, all operations
from the iPod/iPhone are disable. Perform all
operations from this unit.
• The text information may not be displayed correctly.
• The text information scrolls on the monitor. This
unit can display up to 40 characters when using the
interface adapter and up to 128 characters when
using the USB 2.0 cable or USB Audio and Video
cable.

When operating an iPod/iPhone, some operations
may not be performed correctly or as intended. In

For the USB connection:
When <iPod Artwork> is set to <On>:
Do not press any keys during the first 5 seconds or
more of playing back any track containing artwork

It takes 5 seconds or more to display artwork and no
operations are available while loading it.

The picture displayed on the iPod’s/iPhone’s screen
while playing back a track.
DAB tuner
• Only the primary DAB service can be preset even
when you store a secondary service.
Menu items
• If you change the <Amplifier Gain> setting from
<High Power> to <Low Power> while the volume
level is set higher than “30,” the unit automatically
changes the volume level to “30.”
• After you change any of <Menu Language/Audio
Language/Subtitle> settings, turn off then on the
power, and re-insert the disc (or insert another disc)
so that your setting takes effect.
• When you select <16:9> for a picture whose aspect
ratio is 4:3, the picture slightly changes due to the
process for converting the picture width.
• Even if <4:3 Pan Scan> is selected, the screen size
may become <4:3 Letterbox> for some discs.
