Assembling of the rotors inside the housing
• Insert no. 4 viton OR 2162 in the seats on the rotors.
• Lubricate the contact surfaces of the shafts.
• Turn-around the housing with the mounted-on front bench
assembly facing downwards. Insert the rotors assembly making sure
that they are in the original (pre-dismantling) position.
• The shafts must be free to reach the correct axial position. Lift the
housing using a winch or a proper support-tool.
The shafts have to be inserted inside the
bushings bore (already mounted on the front
flange). The rotors must therefore rest quite even
with the housing upper surface.
• Once completed this assembling avoid to lift again the axes: this
could result to a pulling-out of the bushings from their seats and
subsequent eventual damage to the metallic seal-rings.
• Lubricate the shafts.

Assembling of the rear bench and rear bearings
• Insert the pins Ø10x35 (4 pcs) in the housing’s seats and apply an
even & thin coat of high-temperatures (250°C) sealing-glue. Mount the
rear bench following the same prescriptions of the front bench.
• Make sure that the draining slots are facing downwards.
• Tighten the M8x30 screws (10 pcs) fixing the flange to the
housing.
Make sure that the OR 108 (10 pcs) are still in
their seats before placing the assembly on the
housing procedure.
• Mount the next components in the following order. The course of
actions is the same for both the shafts:
-
Shaft spacer (1).
-
Spring spacer (2).
-
Axial spring unit (3).
-
Spring spacer (4).
-
Bearing (5) (NUP 209 ECJ/C3). Insert the bearing using the tool
no. 7.
Pay attention to the orientation of the bearing as
showed in the following drawing. The internal
ring is divided into 2 parts. The main part include
the rolls-cup and must be inserted first. The
secondary part is a ring and must be mounted
after.
