Changing the opening direction of the
door

 (Only for model JKU 6431)

Having changed the opening direction of the ap-
pliance door, it is advisable to also change the ope-
ning direction of the freezer compartment door.
To do this, proceed as follows:

Unscrew the two fi-
xing screws to remo-
ve the lower hinge
f ro m   t h e   d o o r
(Fig. 15).

Remove the freezer
compartment door
and the upper hinge.
O n c e   t h e   f re e z e r
door has been remo-
v e d ,   re m o v e   t h e
s c re w s   f r o m   t h e
catch and refit it on
the opposite side
(Fig. 16).

Refit the upper hinge
and the door on the
opposite side, then
refit the lower hinge
(Fig. 17).

When changing the opening direction of the door,
make sure that the hinges fit properly against the sur-
face on which the door seal rests.
