Reset for the saturation control
devices for grease and charcoal filters
Once the grease filters have been cleaned
or the charcoal filter replaced, press the A
button for approximately 3 seconds until
you hear the (beep):
The F led and C led (if active) will stop
blinking.
Maintenance
Before performing any maintenance
operation, disconnect the hood from the
electricity.
Metal grease filter
To remove the metal grease filter press
the two plastic handles D (Fig. 2) inwards so
that they rotate longitudinally 45° and then
pull the two handles towards the centre of
the appliance at the same time.
The metal grease filter lasts forever and
must be washed either by hand or in the
dishwasher (65°C) with suitable detergents.
The grease filters must be washed at least
once a month.
Attention! When washed in a dishwasher,
the metal grease filter may discolour.
Before refitting the filter ensure that it is
perfectly dry.
Position of filters is interchangeable.
Carbon filter
It keeps the odours and smells and leave the
aspirated air cleaned from them.
The carbon filter should be replaced every
year under normal use.
The carbon filter cannot be washed nor
regenerated.
To fit the carbon filter - Fig. 3:
1) Remove the metal grease filters.
2) Remove the two screws E which fix the
carbon filter holder.
3) Fit the carbon filter F, replace the holder
into its original position.
Now fix it into place using the two hooks
G of the carbon filter.
It is not necessary to replace the two
screws.
4) Put the metal grease filter back into
place.
To replace the carbon filter - Fig. 3:
— To dismount, press the two buttons A
and pull gently forwards to remove the
filter from its housing.
Attention
Failure to observe the rules for cleaning the
appliance and changing and cleaning the
filters may cause fires.
Therefore, we recommend observing these
instructions.
Replacing the lamp - Fig. 4
1) Disconnect the hood from the electricity.
2) Remove the burnt lamp using a
screwdriver, and pull it outwards.
3) Use only 20 W (max) halogen lamps.
4) Fit the new lamp ensuring that the two
male contacts of the lamp fit perfectly
into the female contacts of the lamp
holder.
5) Before calling for repair service because
the hood fails to light up, make sure the
bulbs are screwed in tightly.
Cleaning
To clean the outside of the hood use a cloth
moistened with denatured alcohol or neutral
liquid detergents.
Never use products containing abrasive.
Wipe brushed stainless steel in the same
direction as the brushing to avoid scratching.
