5. Problems and solutions
Problem

The jack extension movement does
not occur.
Overload conditions The draining
valve is not closed.
Remedy the overload conditions.
Make sure that the draining valve
is closed.
The system does not hold the pressu-
re when the mechanism is working.
Overload conditions The lowering
valve is not completely closed.
Remedy the overload conditions.
Make sure that the draining valve
is closed.
Hydraulic unit malfunction.
Contact the Service department.
The cylinder no longer retracts (oil
not returned to the pump).
Connector malfunction, damaged
mechanism. Overfilled tank
Secure the load using appropriate
means. Open the lowering valve,
relieve pressure in the pump and
hose, remove the connector and/
or jack, and drain the oil into an
appropriate container until the right
level has been reached.
Low power.
Hydraulic oil level low. Air in the
system.
Make sure that the fluid level is
correct. Make sure that the venting
screw pin is positioned so that the
air exchange from the tank works
correctly.
