4 Information for electrically skilled persons
Installation and electrical connection
DANGER
Electric shock from touching live parts in the installation environment.
An electric shock can be fatal.
Before working on the device, disconnect the power and cover live parts in the area.
The appliance box for the electronic door signal muste be installed flush mounted and exactly orientated in the wall.
• Mount supporting frame (1) on the appliance box.
• Remove 10 mm of wire isolation.
Use standard wires for electrical connection.
Wire widths without ferrules:
-
max. 1.0 mm² for flexible wires
-
max. 1.5 mm² for inflexible wires
• Lead wires through design frame (2).
• Connect wires with connection terminal of electronic door signal for sound 1 or sound 2.
To connect wires push down release buttons at the terminal on the back side of door signal.

Place design frame on supporting frame and attach electronic door signal (3) to fix them.
• Switch on mains voltage.
