Assemble basketball set as explained in your basketball set
instruction manual, using the Type A assembly instructions.
When you get to Step 10 in that manual, instead of installing the
basketball set to the top of a safety enclosure pole, install it to the
pole adapter included with this kit. Then, hand-tighten M10 acorn
nuts to lower M10 x 125mm bolts.

Remove ball end cap and pole cap from top of pole where
you want basketball set to be installed (should be on a pole oppo-
site the entrance to the safety enclosure). If applicable (2018 models
& earlier), use scissors to carefully cut tab in pole sleeve so that
pole sleeve/foam can slide several inches down pole. This will
allow the adapter pole to be installed properly.
