SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
WARNING!
Never look directly at the sun with this telescope as this can cause blindness or other
serious, permanent eye damage.
OPERATION
1.
Mount for tripod. The telescope should be mounted on a tripod to obtain a stable image.
2.
Zoom ring (model 20-60 x 60). Turn the ring to the 20X position.
3.
Focus ring. Direct the telescope at the object and turn the focus ring until you get a sharp picture.
For Model 20-60 x 60, turn the zoom ring to the required degree of magnification and adjust the
focus as needed.
MAINTENANCE
After use, keep your telescope with the lens cap in place in a dry environment. Do not touch the lenses
with your fingers.
Cleaning
Blow dust and other debris off the lenses, or use a soft lens brush. Remove dirt or fingerprints from the
lenses with a soft cotton cloth, rubbing in a circular motion from the centre to the edge. Do not use a
coarse cloth and do not rub too hard as this could scratch the lenses and cause permanent damage.
For more thorough cleaning, use a cleaning solution designed for camera lenses. Always apply the fluid
to the cleaning cloth - never directly on a lens.
