OPERATION
INFLATING TYRES, BALLS, BALLOONS AND TOYS
Note:
•
After 10 minutes of continuous use, allow the compressor to cool down for 10 minutes.
•
We recommend that car tyres are overinflated by 0.14 bar/2 psi as this amount will roughly
leak from the tyre’s valve when you release the quick connector.
•
Avoid overinflating tyres. Check the recommended car tyre pressure in the vehicle’s owner’s
manual or placard. For bicycle tyres, check the tyre marking.
•
The compressor has a memory function, which means that the previously set pressure will
be used the next time it is used.
Operating the compressor with pre-set pressure
1.
Pull out the 12V cord from the side compartment and connect the plug to the vehicle’s
cigarette lighter socket.
2.
Connect the quick connector to the tyre’s valve and press the locking connector down to
secure the connection.
3.
Start the vehicle’s engine. The compressor is now ready for use.
4.
Press unit selection button (F) to select the correct pressure unit. The display is always
illuminated so the compressor is easy to use even when it is dark.
5.
Press the pressure adjustment buttons (E), i.e. the plus button (+) to increase the pressure
or the minus button (-) to reduce it.
6.
Operate the compressor by pressing in the compressor button. The compressor will switch off
automatically as soon as the pre-set pressure has been reached.
7.
Remove the quick connector from the tyre and disconnect the 12V plug.
