SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all operating and safety instructions carefully before use.

Maintenance and repair may only be carried out by the manufacturer or at an authorised service
centre. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
•
Make sure that the mains supply is not overloaded if multiple appliances are connected to the
same circuit.
•
Do not touch the air outlet when the appliance is running – risk of burns.
•
Do not touch the power cord or the plug with wet hands.
•
Never insert foreign objects into the air outlet or inlet – risk of electric shock and/or damage to
property.
•
Never spray flammable substances at or near the appliance - risk of damage to property.
•
Always turn the appliance off, unplug the power cord and allow the appliance to cool completely
before cleaning.
•
Plug in the power cord correctly.
•
Switch off the appliance immediately and unplug the cord, if it smells or makes an unfamiliar noise.

Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged – risk of electric shock and/or fire. A
damaged cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure safe
use.

Do not place heavy objects on the power cord and do not step on it – risk of electric shock.

Do not expose children to the air stream from the appliance over long periods.
•
Do not pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
•
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
•
The appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with disabilities, or by
persons who are not familiar with how the appliance is used, unless they are supervised or receive
instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person who is responsible for their safety.

Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
