Results of Improper Adjustment
1) Remove the top cover, locus cut base

and exhaust slot

2) Loosen vertical adjustment nut

and move vertical adjustment
pin

to a proper position.
3) After the adjustment, stop locus cut base

and exhaust slot
support

at the position as shown in the figure.

When the position of vertical
adjustment pin

is changed,
the vertical momentum of top
feed dog changes.

When vertical adjustment pin

is moved toward the top end of
vertical adjustment arm, the
momentum is decreased and
when it is moved to the root,
momentum is increased.

When the vertical momentum is
increased, jumping occurs and
noise may occur at high speed.
