Setup
Always use the provided nylon washer
when attaching the double-sided screw, or
any screw longer than 1/8”, to the battery.
The Magic Power™ is designed with stan-
dard, 1/4-20 and 3/8” threaded holes for
attaching your preferred mounting device.
We recommend the use of a rod clamp or
quick release plate for easy attachment/
detachment of the battery to your Black-
magic® rig.
For best results, charge the battery before
each use, including the first use. The Magic
Power™ has both an “In” and “Out” port
as well as an “On/Off” switch. To charge
the battery, connect the provided charger
to the “In” port and turn the switch to the
“On” position. To power the camera, con-
nect the battery to the camera using the
“Out” port and one of the provided male-
to-male power cables.
