 Slow Cooker

Roast Beef

Place the meat into the slow cooker, 
put the Lid

 on and cook to taste.  

Approximate cooking times for the meat 
to be well done are as follows:

LOW 

8

 for 2-2½ hours per 500g

HIGH 

9

 for 1-1½ hours per 500g

Roast Lamb

Cut away excess fat. Place the meat 
into the slow cooker, put the Lid

 on 

and cook to taste. Approximate cooking 
times for the meat to be well done are as 
follows:

LOW

 for 2-2½ hours per 500g

HIGH

 for 1-1½ hours per 500g

Roast Chicken

Wash the chicken and stuff as required. 
Place the meat into the slow cooker, 
put the Lid

 on and cook to taste. 

Approximate cooking times for the meat 
to be well done are as follows:

 for 2-2½ hours per 500g

HIGH

 for 1-1½ hours per 500g

Corned Beef

Serves 4-6 People

• 

1.5kg corned silverside

• 

1 onion, finely chopped

• 

10 peppercorns

• 

2 bays leaves

• 

2 tablespoons brown sugar

Place silverside into the slow cooker and 
just cover with water Add the remaining 
ingredients.

Put the Lid

 on and cook on LOW

 for 

8-10 hours or on HIGH 

9

 for 4-5 hours.

Serve with boiled potatoes and vegetables.

Seafood Hot Pot

Serves 4-6 People

• 

1 blue swimmer crab, cut in half and 
claws cracked

• 

500g mussels, cleaned

• 

500g squid rings

• 

500g green kings prawns, peeled 
leaving tails on

• 

250g scallops

• 

1 tablespoon oil

• 

2 cloves of garlic, crushed

• 

2cm piece ginger, finely grated

• 

3 onion sliced

• 

125ml (4.5fl oz) of water

• 

250ml (9fl oz) dry white wine

• 

2 x 425g can tomatoes, undrained

• 

80ml (3fl oz) of tomato paste

• 

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

• 

1 tablespoon sugar

• 

1/2 teaspoon chilli power, finely 
chopped

• 

1/3 cup chopped parsley
