To comply with FCC/ISED RF exposure limits for occupa onal/controlled exposure, the antenna(s) used for
this transmi er must be installed to provide a separa on distance of at least 40 cm from any persons and
must not be co-located or opera ng in conjunc on with any other antenna or transmi er.
All Other Versions:
All other device versions comply with the FCC/ISED RF exposure limits with up to 100% talk - 0% listen duty
factor and the separa on distance as speci
fi
ed below.
To comply with FCC/ISED RF exposure limits for occupa onal/controlled exposure, the antenna(s) used for this
transmi er must be installed on outdoor permanent structures to provide a separa on distance of at least
140 cm from any persons and must not be co-located or opera ng in conjunc on with any other antenna or
transmi er.
Man Portable (MP) Version Opera ng Instruc ons
To ensure compliance with the RF exposure requirements the device must be placed to allow a minimum
separa on distance of 40 cm between the antenna and all persons during transmit mode opera on as shown
in
fi
gure 1.
Vehicle (VE) Version Antenna Installa on
The vehicle antenna used for this transmi er must be installed external to a metal body vehicle and provide a
separa on distance of 40 cm from passenger and bystanders.
For op mum performance and compliance with RF exposure limits, mount the antenna in the center area of
the roof as shown in
fi
gure 2.
