4.2
FB-40 or FBH-40 Bracket
The float-free brackets (FB-40 or FBH-40) are covered brackets with a HRU
which will release the EPIRB if the bracket is submerged to a water depth
below 2-4 meters or more. The bracket includes a docking station with LAN
and power connections for the VDR storage module. The connections are
inductive and capacitive, and transfers signals without radio transmissions
or cables.
