Now you may mount the lens on the camera by placing the lens board with lens in the open
standard. If it does not fit skip to

Attention! The board is not a full square, so you’ll have to make sure that the
JoLo inscription is on top left of the camera standard (fig.4) Close the slide locks.

)You may find out that the 7 inch Aero lens does not fit into the black square
light-trap of the front standard. This is normal. The rear of the lens is a tiny little
bigger than the light-trap. I added a metal screw and a long barrel nut in your
lens board package to solve the problem very easily. Follow the instructions
below to mount your lens successfully.
a
) Remove the paddle of the release lever.
You won’t need it anyway when using the Aero lens.

) Remove the Graflok back with the ground glass to prevent damaging the
ground glass while working on the light-trap.
c
) Hold the screw with the long barrel nut in the centre of the light trap and
screw the barrel nut outwards until it jams in between the square light trap.

) Turn the nut a few times using a wrench.
e
) Repeat 3 and 4 in the vertical way.
f
) Check if the lens fits in the square light trap.
If you intend to focus exclusively on the
ground glass, you may skip to 23)
