moisture, near water, in the tub, in the sink
or near another container with liquids. Con-
tact with these elements can cause corrosion
and compromise the correct operation of the
balance.
Do not drop or hit the appliance.
Keep the scale away from heat sources.
Do not overload the scale beyond its range. Do
not open the scale for any reason. In the event
of opening or tampering with the warranty, the
warranty is void. Be careful not to allow liquids
to penetrate the scale body. This appliance is
not waterproof.
Never place hot containers on the scale. The
presence of strong electromagnetic fields (mo-
bile phones) can adversely affect the accuracy
of the scale.
The device can be used by children aged 8 and
under and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities, or lacking in expe-
rience or the necessary knowledge, provided
they are under surveillance or after they have
received instructions relating to safe use of
the appliance and understanding of the dan-
gers inherent in it. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance in-
