8) Heating of food: baby bottles, jars...
Before heating, remove the teats from bott
les and lids from jars.
Microwave cooking only heats food. The
containers may be cold or lukewarm but the
food inside could be boiling.
To avoid risks of burns, stir the foodand
check its temperature (especially far food in
tended far children) before serving it.
9) Heating liquids.
When heating liquids, there may be a delay in
boiling, which could cause the liquid to sud
denly rise when the container is removed from
the appliance. In fact, the boiling point was
reached, but the bubbles remain captured on
the bottom of the container, therefore there
is a risk of burns.
To avoid this problem, piace a plastic spoon
in the liquid to heat.
