Guide
Introduction
The GS3000 Gas Detection Sensor Series of carbon
monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO
2
) sensors
monitor CO gas levels and offers an optional local or
remote NO
2
sensor. You can order the sensor with four
output options. Analog options include 4 mA to 20 mA
active output or voltage output configurable as 0 VDC
to 5 VDC or 0 VDC to 10 VDC. Network options include
BACnet®.
Analog outputs are available on the CO, TEMP, and NO
2
terminals. Order the signal type as either voltage or 4
mA to 20 mA active outputs. Select the voltage model for
either 0 VDC to 5 VDC or 0 VDC to 10 VDC through the
Menu, the factory default setting is 0 VDC to 5 VDC.

Important:
Read these instructions carefully before you install
and commission the gas sensor. Failure to follow
these instructions may result in product damage.
Do not use this device in an explosive or hazardous
environment, with combustible or flammable gases,
as a safety or emergency stop device, or in any
other application where failure of the product could
result in personal injury. Follow electronic discharge
precautions during installation and do not exceed
the device ratings.
