FX-WRZSST-110 Wireless Sensing System Tool Installation Instructions

2

Canada

Installation

Transport the FX-WRZSST-110 Wireless Sensing
System Tool in the original container to minimize
vibration and shock damage to the receiver.

Verify that all the parts shipped with the receiver:

one FX-WRZ7850 Receiver with two magnets
attached

one battery pack with two magnets attached

two AA alkaline batteries

one installation instructions sheet

Do not drop the receiver or subject it to physical shock.

Mounting

To mount the receiver:

Note:

Check that the power switches on the

FX-WRZ7850 Receiver and FX-WRZ Series Sensor
are set to

OFF

 before proceeding.

1.

Set the

TRANSMITTER ID

 and

AREA

 DIP

switches on the FX-WRZ7850 Receiver and the
FX-WRZ Series Sensor to the same address.
Refer to the

One-to-One Wireless Sensing System

Technical Bulletin (LIT-12011663)

 for more details.

2.

Install the batteries into the battery pack.

3.

Connect the battery pack wire harness to the
two-pin connector located under the

TRANSMITTER ID

DIP switches on the back of

the FX-WRZ7850 Receiver.

Note:

Connecting the battery pack to the receiver

transforms the FX-WRZ7850 Receiver into the
FX-WRZSST Tool.

4.

Turn the battery pack switch to

ON

.

5.

For a One-to-One wireless room sensing system,
place the FX-WRZSST-110 Tool in the area where
the FX-WRZ7850 Receiver is to be located, and
place the FX-WRZ Series Sensor in the area
where you intend to mount the sensor.

This Class (A) digital apparatus meets all the
requirements of the Canadian Interference-Causing
Equipment Regulations.

Cet appareil numérique de la Classe (A) respecte
toutes les exigences du Règlement sur le matériel
brouilleur du Canada.

RF Transmitters: Industry Canada Statements

The term

IC

 before the certification/registration

number only signifies that the Industry Canada
technical specifications were met.

This device has been designed to operate with an
antenna having a maximum gain of 2 dB. Antenna
having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per
regulations of Industry Canada. The required
antenna impedance is 50 ohms.

To reduce potential radio interference to other users,
the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen
that the Equivalent Isotropically Radiated Power
(EIRP) is not more than that required for successful
communication.

Le terme « IC » précédant le numéro d'accréditation/
inscription signifie simplement que le produit est
conforme aux spécifications techniques d'Industry
Canada.

IMPORTANT:

If there are other wireless mesh

networks or One-to-One wireless room sensing
systems in the area, ensure that the

PAN OFFSET

address of the FX-WRZ7850 Receiver and
FX-WRZ Series Sensor (set by the

TRANSMITTER

ID

 and

AREA

DIP Switches) is different from the

PAN OFFSET

 address of those wireless mesh

networks or One-to-One wireless room sensing
systems.
