The programme selector dial is divided into following
sections:

Cottons,

• Synthetics,

• Delicates

• Wool Hand 

washing 

• Special programmes from “

Soak 30°

” to “

30

Minute wash

• Reset/Off programme 

Off

The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or
anticlockwise.
Positions “

Economy

” correspond to an ENERGY

SAVING programme and “

Cold

” to a cold wash.

At the end of the programme the selector dial
must be turned to position “Off”.

3 “Spin” button

Press this button repeatedly to change the spin speed
or to select position “None” (no spin) , if you want
your laundry to be spun at a speed different from the
one proposed by the washing machine. The relevant
light will light up.

Spin speed

The following speeds are available for the different
fabrics:

• Cottons, linen:

500/700/900 max 1200 r.p.m. (for the model JLWM
1201) and 1400 r.p.m. (for the model JLWM 1402);

• Synthetics and wool:

500/700 max 900 r.p.m.;

• Duvet 40°/Delicates 30° and “

30 Minute wash

”:

500 max 700 r.p.m.

Position “None”

By selecting the option 

“None

” the spinning phases

are cancelled. 
If you select this option with programmes for cotton
and synthetics, the machine will perform some extra
rinses.

4 “Option” buttons

Depending on the programme, different functions can
be combined. These must be selected after choosing
the desired programme and before depressing the
“”

Start/Pause

” button.

When th3ese buttons are pressed, the corresponding
pilot lights illuminate. When they are pressed again, the
pilot lights go out.
If an incorrect option is selected, the pilot lights flash
for about 2 seconds and the message Err is displayed.
Press these buttons to select the following options:

• “

Prewash”

: select this option if you wish your

laundry to be prewashed before the main wash (

not

available for 

Wool, Duvet 40° and “

30 Minute

wash

).

The prewash ends with a short spin at 650 rpm in
programmes for cotton and synthetic fabrics,
whereas in the programme for delicate fabrics the
water is only drained. This option can be selected for
heavily soiled laundry but not together with “

Stain”

option.
