WARNING - DETACHABLE SLING STRAPS

If your sling has detachable straps, it is critical to ensure they are securely attached to the sling prior

to lifting a patient. Failure to do so may result in injury to the patient and/or care giver.

Feed each individual strap through the colour-coded loop on the sling. Next, feed the strap through

the ‘D’ ring and pull it back on itself. Ensure the strap is securely attached to the sling and repeat

for remaining straps.
