FUNCTIONS
ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION
For unit temperatures less than or equal to 5°C, the unit switches on together with the heating circulator
pump. Once the temperature of 20°C has been reached, the heating circulator pump shuts down while the
boiler circulator pump switches on for three minutes. At the end of the cycle, the boiler sets to stand-by.
OVERTEMPERATURE DISPERSAL FUNCTION
In the event that the boiler temperature reaches or exceeds 92 °C, the electronic system activates a heat
dispersal function by means of the hot water circulator pump; a fault is indicated on the control panel by a
flashing orange LED until the temperature drops below 90 °C. After fault indication has ceased, hot water
circulation remains activated for another four minutes.
ANTI-BACTERIAL FUNCTION
At least every 168 hours, the system activates an anti-bacterial function, during which the boiler temperature
is “forced” to the parameter setting of 65°C.
POSTCIRCULATION FUNCTION
When the room thermostat or boiler cut in, the post-circulation function starts up for three minutes.
INSTALLATION
The appliance must be installed by qualified personnel only, in compliance with the instructions given by
the manufacturer and all relevant laws and regulations. Special attention is urged when complying with
safety standards and those governing the construction and location of flues.
WATER CONNECTIONS
When making water connections, be careful to comply with the recommendations given in vicinity of
couplings, as well as those featured in figure 1 in this booklet. When making connections, ensure that
pipes are not strained in any way. The unit is supplied with an expansion tank. Bear in mind that the water
pressure in the system should be between 1.2 and 1.5 bar.
CONNECTION TO THE FLUE
Connect the appliance to a flue that has been constructed in compliance with standing regulations. Ensure
that the pipe connecting the boiler to the flue is made of suitable materials, i.e. resistant to heat and
corrosion. Check that all joints are watertight and that the pipe is well insulated between the boiler and
the flue to prevent condensation.
