Tipping a Body
The operator of the hook-lift is responsible for handling it. Care must be taken to
avoid injury or damage. Before operating the hook-lift make sure that you have read
and are fully aware of the warnings in this manual and on the hook-lift.
To tip a body follow the procedure listed below:
1.
Make sure that there is nobody within the working area of the vehicle and the body.
2.
If the vehicle is fitted with an extendable underrun - retract it. Refer to
.
3.
Make sure that the vehicle is on a level and firm surface.
Failure to do so, can lead to the vehicle being unevenly loaded and tipping over.
If the vehicle leans two or more degrees there is a risk that it will tip over.
4.
If the vehicle has retractable axles, make
sure that they are lowered before tipping.
5.
Start the hydraulic pump. Once the pump
is started, the pump icon will be displayed
in the CBW controller as shown.
