In order to make changes within this editing window, click on Modify Properties
to activate the fields. Click on the field to be changed and make the corrections
in the right column next to the highlighted field.
NOTE: Notice that Controller 1 and Controller 2 each have a unique Host
Name in
. Each time you set up a new system, be sure you enter a
unique Host Name, even with only one system. This will prevent problems with
the SMTP email notification if you add multiple systems at a later time.
When you are finished, click Apply to save and affect the changes.
When you return to the main Controller Configuration screen, click on Close.
You can continue by selecting a different tab or click Close at the bottom and
return to the Main View of JMR Storage Manager.
The following fields are explained for the Ethernet Configuration Window.
Status
Displays the state of the Ethernet connection.
Host Name
The name of the host.
IP Address
The IP address assigned to the system.
SubNet Mask
A mask used to determine what subnet an IP address
belongs to.
Gateway
A node on a network that serves as an entry node to
another network.
