Clean the filter cartridge with a garden hose using a direct powerful
waterspray.
If the filter cartridge cannot be cleaned effectively in this manner, it is
time to replace it with a new cartridge.
Your clean (or new) cartridge can be put back into the filter chamber
and you can refer to the installation instruction on page 3 to re-
assemble the filter pump unit.
Trouble Shooting Guide
PUMP DOES NOT OPERATE:
Check to make sure pump unit power cord is plugged into GFCI outlet
properly.
Check to GFCI for proper operation according to GFCI manufacturer’s
instructions.
Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.
Check to see if motor is too hot, this may cause overload and
shutdown.
MOTOR RUNS, BUT DOES NOT PUMP WATER OR WATERFLOW
IS TOO SLOW:
Check for possible obstructions inside of intake hose or discharge hose
inside of pool wall.
Tighten all hose clamps.
Check all hoses for possible damage.
Clean or replace filter cartridge.
PUMP LOSES PRIME
Make sure there are no leaks in connection hoses.
Clean or replace filter cartridge.
FILTER DOES NOT CLEAN POOL
Check PH and chlorine level in pool, following the instructions of your
local pool supply retailer.
Clean or replace cartridge.
Check for holes in cartridge. Replace if necessary.
Try running filter pump for a longer period of time each day.
Clean the debris (that may have gathered) away from strainer screen
at pool wall
