Programmed switch-off (SLEEP)
• To fall asleep while listening to music, you can set a duration of time from 90
minutes down to 10 minutes. After the set time has elapsed, the device turns
off automatically.
• Press the
SLEEP/SNOOZE
button (9) several times during radio operation to
reduce the switch-off time in 10 minute increments. This is how you select the
time remaining before the device turns off.
• After several seconds the previous display appears again and additionally a bed
symbol is shown on the display:
• In order to disable the sleep function, press the
SLEEP/WAKE
button once
again. The bed symbol on the display then disappears.
Notes:
• If you do not press any buttons for 5 seconds, the setting of the sleep function
setting is cancelled.
• You can switch off the device anytime before the programmed time with the
ON
button (8).
Cleaning the housing
•
Note for mains operation:
Pull the plug out of the wall outlet before every
cleaning.
• Remove dust with a soft dusting cloth.
• Do not use a wet sponge, wax, spray polishes, or abrasives.
•
Caution:
Water must not penetrate the interior of the housing. If it does, unplug
the device from the mains (when using the AC adapter), and let it dry out
thoroughly before bringing it back into operation. Please do not dry the device in
an oven or microwave oven.
