Immersion heater types BR, DR, ER, OR, MR– round
JEVI immersion heaters are produced according to the low-voltage
directive, EN 60-335-1 and EN 60-335-2-21. The heaters are designed for
screwing into a 1½" or 2" RG connector. Tighten the thread with a suitable
sealing material. Always cover the heaters by liquid which must be
checked before connection. Installation in a pressure tank must be made
according to EN13445 and EN60364.
Place the heater in the tank either horizontally or vertically plugged in from
the bottom.
Never place the heater in the tank with the junction box facing upwards.
According to the low-voltage directive the fixed electric installation in front
of the heater must include a circuit breaker.
Installation must be made by an authorized electrical contractor. The heat-
ing element was tested and approved for use in water only. However, it
can be used in e.g. oil and soap cleanser.
The heating elements were produced according to EN 60-335-1.
Never install the heating element without a junction box.
Procedure
1. Use part 1 – 4 to assem-
ble the junction box.
