2.2 Start up
In standalone mode: Display the heart rate on the display screen. Take an
electrode in each hand. There is no need to squeeze them too tightly.
Preferably take the red electrode in your right hand and the yellow electrode in
your left hand.
The heart rate will be displayed after a few seconds. Several arrows are
displayed flashing under this value; they should be between 4 and 5. If the
displayed number is lower or higher, you should use the adjustment button to
adjust the amplification.
In connected mode: Adjust again if necessary (see adjustment in standalone
mode), then run the onboard software and the heart rate sensor will be
recognised. Start the acquisition.
