To switch off the Initio 2, briefly press the start button (1) and confirm by pressing the
rotating wheel (3).
2.3 Set-up the probe
If the displayed value differs by more than 0.04%, a calibration should be carried out.

and confirm by pressing the rotating
wheel.

Yes
and confirm by pressing the knurled knob.

The measurement will oscillate and then stabilise after a few seconds to
0.04 %
.
Note:
The displayed value might slightly differ by 0.04%. If this occurs, restart the set-up
procedure.
2.4 Use with Jeulin devices
An adapter is provided to ensure a seal and stability when fitted to Jeulin respiration devices.
2.4.1 Animal respiration device
- Insert the adapter for the probe with the flat part
downwards.
- Insert the probe into the adapter.
2.4.2 Human respiration device
- Insert the adapter for the probe with the curved part
downwards.
- Insert the probe into the adapter
2.5 Browsing
Initio 2 has three navigation buttons:
Selection-confirmation (3):
The central rotating wheel (3) is to scroll through the menus of the Initio2. Briefly pressing
the OK button in the centre of the rotating wheel confirms the selection.
