6.1 Pin assignment of M12 connector

The M12 connector has the following function:

Power supply to the JVM-104-O08

bus interface: CAN 1

Recognition of the ignition signal

To launch the JVM-104-O08, pin 3 (I) must be connected with pin 1. The
ignition control signal (I) is issued when the key is in position

Current consumption
When the JVM-104-O08 is energized, the current consumption is temporarily
higher. To ensure a reliable start-up of the device, provide at least 3 times the
typical current required.
