Infeed and Outfeed Tables (Stock No. 98-1601)
For use with Sander models 16-32
and 16-32Plus
NOTE: Sander should be bolted to a stand or work table when using the infeed and outfeed tables.
Maximum working load of a table is 35 pounds.
Remove the items from the packaging and
inspect all parts.
Tools required:
7/16” and 9/16” wrenches
Refer to Figure 1.
1. Install a bracket (1) to the two holes in the
Sander base using two hex cap screws (2),
two flat washers (3) and two flanged lock
nuts (4). The bracket should be flush against
the base of the machine. Make sure the
slotted holes for mounting the table are
facing up, as shown in Figure 1. Tighten the
flanged lock nuts (4) against the inside of
the base.
2. Place a table (5) over the bracket (1) and
insert four carriage bolts (6), four flat
washers (7) and four hex nuts (8).
Finger
tighten only.
3. Position the table level with or slightly below
the conveyor surface for proper support of
stock. To check position, place a straight-
edge on one side of the conveyor bed under
the sanding drum and extending out over
the table. See Figure 2. Lower the sanding
drum to securely hold the straightedge in
place. Raise the table until the table is even
with or slightly below the conveyor surface.
Tighten hex nuts (8). Repeat this procedure
for other side of table.
4. Install the other bracket and table to the
opposite side of the machine in the same
manner.
