Using a Smartphone via HDMI/MHL
What is HDMI/MHL? HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is a digital
interface for audio and video sources. HDMI is a digital replacement for analog
video standards.
Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is an industry standard for a mobile audio
video interface that allows consumers to connect mobile phones, tablets, and
other portable consumer electronics (CE) devices to high-definition televisions
(HDTVs) and mobile multimedia receivers.
HDMI/MHL allows you to use the multimedia TFT touch screen to control your
mobile device.
Note: It may not be legal to view apps on a smartphone while driving or
controlling a vehicle. It is the drivers responsibility to obey local and federal
laws while driving or controlling a vehicle.
